An expert says Meghan Markle has undergone a style transformation for her visit to Nigeria, adopting an ‘old-school regal’ look during her ‘royal tour’ with Prince Harry.

The expert analysed the Duchess of Sussex’s stunning appearance as she dazzled in a sleeveless white top that highlighted her shoulders and toned arms as she met with representatives from Save The Children.

Complementing her outfit with flared wide-legged grey trousers, Meghan exuded a relaxed vibe, reports the Mirror.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled to Nigeria last week for their Invictus Games commitments and took the opportunity to meet with Save The Children.

Body language specialist Judi James scrutinised Meghan’s behaviour during the trip. She observed: “Meghan’s body language is old-school regal here with a dignified-looking straight back and minimum movement as she listens graciously to the stories they are being told.

“She keeps her body facing front and upright at the table, only turning her head to one side to listen.

“Her closed-lip smile looks gracious and she uses micro eye-blink gestures to encourage them to continue their stories and to register understanding or empathy.

“Her one important gesticulation here comes when she raises her hands and wrings them together, again to suggest some form of empathy.

“Harry is slightly slumped and less ‘royal’ and when he speaks he uses his now-signature body language ritual of using a different, super-emphatic or mimed hand gesture for each word, as though either wanting to emphasise the vital importance of each word he is saying or to help understanding, despite the fact they are relatively basic.”

“It’s an interesting and contrasting double act with Harry’s very active and high-energy approach versus Meghan’s regal elegance.”

Meghan and Harry have concluded their three-day tour in Nigeria, expressing heartfelt thanks to everyone they encountered.

On sussex.com, the couple released a statement where they expressed immense appreciation to the Nigerian community for the warm reception and hinted at future visits.

Their statement said: “The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organizers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips.”

The pair have offered fans a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of their Nigeria visit.

In a touching moment, Meghan was visibly moved when she received a thoughtful gift intended for Archie and Lilibet, making it all the more meaningful as she had previously shared her longing to be with them on Mother’s Day.

During their high-profile visit to Africa, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, was left speechless by a gesture from 13-year-old Grace Busari. The young girl presented Meghan with a pair of beautifully hand-stitched teddy bears, leaving the Duchess overwhelmed.

Grace, the daughter of CNN Nigeria Bureau Chief and Senior Editor, was invited to join Meghan and Prince Harry on their visit.
